Appearance
Antimony trioxide is white odorless crystalline powder, is a kind of amphoteric oxide, better weather resistance than Lithopone, small pulverization, heat resistance, yellow when heated, white after cooling.
Dissolution
Antimony trioxide is insoluble in water and ethanol, but soluble in concentrated hydrochloric acid, concentrated sulfuric acid, concentrated alkali, oxalic acid, tartaric acid and fuming nitric acid.
Application
As the raw material of flame retardant in PVC resin;
As the synergy effect FR with bromine flame retardant in poly resin.
